As a back drop to this post I must explain a few things about our Faith. Once a month our sacrement hour at church is dedicated to members who'd like to share their testimonies about their faith, to the congregation. The end of their testimony they will close by saying "in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen." We close the same way when praying to God.
When uncle Peter was Harrisons age he'd get anxious during fast and testimony meetings. When someone would get up to share their testimony they'd finish and say "amen." Every time uncle Peter would cry because he feared the meeting had ended and he would be required to leave the comfort of his parents and go to nursery with the other little toddlers.
As a family we start and end our day with prayer. Harrison is quite vocal if someone wants to say the prayer. Typically we will ask one of the kids to say the prayer, and after their prayer we will let Harrison say a prayer.
Today's sacrement meeting was dedicated fast and testimony. Members would get up and share their testimony and finish by saying "amen" Harrison would loudly proclaim "no, I say prayer, it's my turn to say prayer." He would fold his arms and wait for us to fold ours. Harrison was getting more and more upset that he wasn't being asked to say prayer. Needless to say we had to take him out because how upset he was getting.

That is sooo funny! Atleast he is anxious to pray.
Lauryn does that too but not quite to the extent that Harrison does. She wants to say the blessing on dinner even after someone else has done so!! Got to love kids-and yours are pretty darn cute!!!
You can't complain about a boy who wants to pray. That is hilarious.
I wish I could have seen it.
Love this age!
that's too funny! harrison is the cutest!
That is so funny. I'm impressed that he's paying enough attention to even notice them saying "amen". Good work!
