Johnny's family came from Dallas, and we packed in a ton of fun for 3 days. There are so many pics that we missed taking because we were so caught up in the fun.
This year our theme was all about talent. We had different workshops where we chose and practiced our skills. Most of our weekend revolved around learning new dances, practicing songs, making invitations and planning the dessert for the big night.
Here is the only picture of the talent show. Paula and I were busy recording the whole thing, which I am happy to have.
Logan was the emcee and took the assignment to heart. He was enthusiastic and witty- inserting a joke between every act. Every kid particpated. Here is the program:
1. Mariah played "Hot Cross Buns" on her recorder, whole Millie and Savannah sang along.
2. Harrison read a book (I can't remember it, darnit!)
3. Savannah sang a One Direction Song
4. Millie sang Justin Bieber
5. Harrison showed us how fast he could run
6. Logan did some fancy basketball drills
7. Jefferson sang Happy Birthday in Portuguese
8. Toccoa played a song on the piano
9. Logan showed us how high he can jump
10. Mariah, Savannah, Coa, Millie and I performed a hip hop dance to the song "Boyfriend" by Justin Bieber. Choreographed by yours truly.
We did other things to feel like we were having a hotel experience. We let kids have baths in our jetted tub, which Savannh particularly loved, and were always meeting in the grand hall for fun snacks and games.

Some other highlights:
Girl time, going for adventure walks and hiking to the castle (a neat structure at the entrance to our neighborhood)
Hours and hours of fun making up our own versions of the
Harlem Shake
Mexican food overlooking Lake Travis
And just good ol' quality time with people we love.
