SIX

Mariah's 6th birthday was honored with little celebrations throughout the day. Skipping morning chores, McDonalds for lunch, homemade oreo's to share with her class, walk home from school, and dinner with the family at Tony's Crab Shack.

Mariah is such a special girl. When people heard I was pregnant with a girl, they warned me about the nonstop chatter and drama that little girls are known for. I have been surprised at her calm, quiet nature. She is a quiet observer and is most often lost in her own thoughts. She doesn't cause much drama, although she is capable of having theatric meltdowns every once in a while.
A few words to describe my girl at 6: Nurturing, kind, innocent, helpful, physically active, smiley, pleaser, quiet, loud, beautiful, happy.
She is most likely to be found: outside riding her bike, socializing with neighborhood friends, caring for her babies, ballet dancing, horseback riding (b-day gift), or shopping with mom (one of our faves).
Happy Birthday my dear Mariah!
