Within a week of moving in to our new place, we had our first guests! We were SO excited to host my oldest brother, John, and his awesome family. John was probably our biggest cheerleader about our move- it meant so much to us. A short 4 hour drive brought them to our rental home at Scenic Escape. It didn't take long for all of us to get reaquainted and enjoy being together.
John was excited to see the capital, so we headed there for a tour
And a trip for some serious BBQ was top on the priority list! Salt Lick BBQ, what a place!
A beach trip to Briarcliff Cove, check out this little poser :)
On Friday night John and Paula took off for a much needed date. I found myself left with 4 girls in my home- truly a dream come true for me. I clapped my hands and announced that Ruby's Ballet School was now in session. We learned a new dance and discussed ballerina etiquette over smoothies and snacks.
Harrison would like me to clarify that he was strictly there to to partake of the goods and that he had nothing to do with this ballerina business. He may or may not have pointed his pinky to the air while sipping along. But noone will ever know :)
That night we made our plans for a recital for the next evening. We went into town, and purchased supplies to make our invitations and tutu's.
